Biography

Zhang Xiaowei, Chief Physician, Department of Urology, Peking University People's Hospital, graduated from Peking University Health Science Center in 2009 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree. He subsequently worked at Peking University People's Hospital, serving successively as Resident Physician, Chief Resident, Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician, and Chief Physician. In 2014, as a state-sponsored visiting scholar, he spent one year at Barnes-Jewish Hospital of Washington University and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States. He has participated in and undertaken 7 national, provincial/ministerial, and institutional research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Health Industry Fund, the Doctoral Program Fund of the Ministry of Education, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. He has contributed to or authored more than 80 SCI and core journal papers, and participated in the compilation and translation of 4 professional books, including Clinical Urology, Smith's Urology, Christopher's Surgery (18th Edition), and Surgery (4th Edition). Multiple SCI articles have been published in journals such as Journal of Urology, Urology, Urologia Internationalis, Clinical and Vaccine Immunology, Pediatrics, and Medicine, and he has presented multiple times at the American Urological Association (AUA) Annual Meeting, the SIU World Congress, the Korean Urological Association (KUA) Annual Meeting, the Chinese Urological Association (CUA) Annual Meeting, and the Chinese Plastic and Aesthetic Industry Congress.
